What happens if you try it the other way around? I mean, let the Redmi Note 12 find the Windows computer. (go to the "Bluetooth & other devices" menu to make the computer discoverable)

All my settings are active. I have posted images below from phone and computer. My phone cannot find the computer. Likewise, when I press add device in BT settings, it cannot find the phone.

This looks like a compatibility issue between the Redmi Note 12 4G and the UB500. There is probably not much that can be done about it.

By the way, the driver version you listed (1.9.1040.1003) is apparently from February 2022.

You might want to consider updating to the latest driver version from September 2023. https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/ub500/v1/

  @woozle I asked Windows Device Manager to check for updates and it said the driver was up to date. It wasn't weird and I did as you said and updated and problem solved thanks.

  @BakiUgur Hello. Same problem for my team. Its sad that we were supposed to buy a reliable brand but the device isnt working as expected.

No reply or a solution by TP Link?

Its good to have products in the market that work. We pay for products which dont have after sales support.

Nevertheless we have tested other brands with lower badget and they work perfect. Instant scan and connection with any phone. Dont even try to thing that your phone is outdated or anything else. Its the TP Link UB500 not working!
