Hi

  I just bought a new Deco XE75 (TP-Link Deco AXE5400 Tri-Band WiFi 6E Mesh System(Deco XE75)) from amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VW5JHPH ). I have setup the network and can connect to the 2.5 / 5GHz network. On the Deco app, I have confirmed that the 6Ghz network is set for backhaul and wireless network.

 

  I have a Pixel 6 Pro which supports Wifi 6E.  I also have a couple of laptops with Wifi 6E network cards. None of them can detect the Wifi 6 network of the Deco.  For the laptops - I have upgraded the Bios, the network card drivers and have confirmed in Windows that Wifi 6 is enabled.  I also have a desktop with wifi 6E supporting network card.  That does not detect the Wifi 6E network either.

 

  It seems to be a problem with the router.  How do I fix this / debug this to detec the problem.

@DecoUser123 After selecting "WiFi network and backhaul", did you also set up a password & security for that 6Ghz network?

Yes.  There was a default network name.  I also changed the network name and set the password. 

The 6GHz network was not detected by any of my devices in both cases.

Hi, are all Deco XE75, Pixel 6 Pro and Wi-Fi 6E laptop purchased from the local Indian Market?

Did you use any 6GHz wireless router before?

I haven't found any documents that stated 6Ghz has been adopted in India yet. So far, from the link here-https://www.wi-fi.org/countries-enabling-wi-fi-in-6-ghz-wi-fi-6e , the 6Ghz hasn't been permitted in India.

  @DecoUser123 No. All of them were purchased from the US. The Deco was purchased recently and I carried it to India with me. The Pixel 6 pro was purchased 2 yrs ago in the US.

  @DecoUser123 I read the same thing - Wifi 6 hasn't been adopted by India. But Wifi 6 and Wifi 6E routers are available for sale in India.  The Deco X75 is also available for sale on amazon India and Flipkart (the Indian competitor to amazon).

Wifi 6 routers are also available for sale in retail stores - though I don't know if the Deco Xe75 is.
