Model: Archer C2300
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.3 Build 20230906 rel.41773

Hi all.

I did a search but couldn't see anything which helped.

I have a Virgin media superhub as my internet connection point. This has 4 LAN ports. I have one of these connected  into the internet port on my Archer C2300.

Is there a way to set this up as a network switch so it acts as part of the superhub and doesn't create a sub network? Basically an extension of the superhub?

I turned it into an access point but the LAN port didn't allow my PC to connect to the internet via the LAN ports on the C2300.

Thanks in advance.

Archer C2300 v2 supports access point mode. Here's how to configure - Case 1.

You have to connect C2300 the same way as if it's in router mode by its WAN port to the superhub LAN port.

In this mode C2300 LAN port will serve as network switch (extension) to your superhub.

Just make sure that C2300 DHCP server is disable when configured in AP mode.
