Archer MR600 DHCP Server Problem
Hello,
I have already tried several times to use the DHCP server with Mac addresses for routing the right IP Adress.
The router is supposed to assign a specific IP to the Mac address stored in the list.
Unfortunately, I have already noticed several times that the IP addresses stored are not assigned after a restart.
What is the problem?

When it doesn't assign specific IP address, please check if the client device is using private MAC address or random MAC address, if so, try to disable the random MAC address and reconnect the MR600.

@Sunshine where can i set if i want to use privat or random MAC?
I thought that if I assign an Ip address to a MAC address on the DHCP server (reservation), this would also work.

Can someone help here where i can find the privat MAC Adress setup?

Hi, I mean the client device itself might use random MAC address to connect the network, thus the router would detect it as a different device thus assign other IP address.
The private or random MAC address setup is on your client device itself if it is supported by your client device, for example, here is related guide for apple devices:
Use private Wi-Fi addresses on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch

@Sunshine my clients all use a private mac address that doesn't change, so from my point of view it can't be the clients. This same MAC address is also correctly recognized by the router, but the IP address is not correct even though it is reserved.

@Sunshine Hi, my FW version is 1.2.0.0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel. 44954n.
I think the router is otherwise good, but the DHCP server must run reliably and stable.
