Hi all,

 

I got a issue with my Archer AX50.

When I'm connected to it with WiFi , sometime the WiFi keep connected but there is no internet access (device plug via Ethernet keep working (also a Apple TV is plug to the tp link and keep have internet access)

 

the only way to resolve is disable the WiFi and turn it on again. 
 

do you have any solution for that ? 
(the WiFi name has been replace)

Will all wireless client devices have the same issue at the same time?

 1) Make sure the Router is properly placed, it should be put in open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf.

 2) Login the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, change the wireless channel into another one.

 3) For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust 2.4GHz channel width into 20MHz, for 5G wireless client devices, adjust 5GHz channel width into 80MHz or 40MHz to avoid interference.

Thank for your reply.

I notice there is a new firmware for the Archer AX50 available on the webiste (not downloadable on the router himself)

 

I will try this week if that change something to my issue.

 

To reply to your question :

1 : The routeur is place in the middle of my appart on a fireplace

2 : The router is on bridge mode so i cant change this setting

3 : These setting is in theory on automatic (if i remember correctly but atm i cant check)

AX50 model is known for its overheating problems - details.

It should be placed anywhere but on a fireplace. As @Sunshine posted put it vertically if possible, in a well ventilated open area.

Also you can try the newest FW release that you already saw on its support portal.
