Model: TL-WPA8630P KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.4 Build 20220407 Rel 54776

Using the unit to connect PC via Ethernet which is working fine.  Also to connect a printer which is only 2.4GHz band, and for wi-fi calling on a 5GHz compatible mobile (which connects at 5GHz). For that reason both wireless channels are 'ON', on both router and extender. All devices connect to the access point.without a problem  The phone however has a nasty habit of losing the connection to the access point mid-call. This could of course be either the router or the access point (or of course the phone!), but there is no evidence of a problem in the router logs.  Is there any way to examine what is going on on the access point?

  @DrMopp

Hi, please confirm if the issue happens only when you connect the WiFi of the powerline extender, or also happens when you connect to the main router.

If the router and powerline extender shares the same WiFi name and password, you could also customize the WiFi settings on the powerline extender to check it again:

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have switched off both channels of the Wi-Fi extender to check, (i.e. the phone is now directly connected to the router's wi-fi) and so far have not experienced any dropouts. Not really long enough in the office for a meaningful test. Will post back when tested for a reasonable time.
