Model: TL-WR840N
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: unsure

hello im currently using TP-Link Wireless N Router WR840N. It is on AP mode and im using ethernet cable since I am on the 2nd floor and the main modem is on the 3rd. When I try to connect the ethernet cable directly to my laptop, the speed of the connection is about 300, but when I connect the ethernet cable on my tp-link, it only goes down to around 50-90. Can you guys help me. :( Thanks in advance!

WR840N is not a gigabit router and its LAN port are only 10/100mbps capable - that's the reason for the behavior you've described.
