Hello,

 

I have problem with my DECO XE75 Pro v1.0. It  is dropping down the speed of internet throught wired connection to 100Mb. The cable from ISP is in the 2.5GB port and the computer is connected to 1Gb port. When I am near the main DECO (I have 3 of them ), the wireless connection is between 400-500 Mb, but wired is 93-97 Mb. (When I put the cable from ISP directly to the PC, the speed is about 600-700 Mb)  The wireless connection from other two DECOs is also down to 90-95 Mb. (DECOs are connected together using wired connection) I am currently running at firmware 1.2.5 Build 20231226 rel. 75366 

 

Could anyone  help me ? Thanks in advance :)

Hi, thanks for effort. It looks that the problem was caused by socket in wall. There is double RJ45 socket in the wall, one is working correctly, the second one makes problems. I must disassemble and check it, maybe measure the cable ...

I think my recently posted problem sounds alot like this. I don't think my DecoX20 supports cabled tethering but as soon as I connect to a node, the speed drops ridiculesly

No, it is not. When wired speed is about 100Mbps consistently, it means one of Ethernet cables can't support gigabit link and provides 100Mbps speed. I am asking OP for network diagram to point at which cable it could be.

In your case speeds, while unsatisfactory for you, exceed 100Mbps at least in one direction, which excludes common Ethernet cable issues.
