Good to know. I thought EasyMesh is a Wifi standard and can be implemented on any hardware.
I see some old hardware that supports OneMesh are getting EasyMesh support.

Anyway, I wanted to expand my network and invest in EasyMesh.
Does anyone have experience with https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/range-extender/re315/?
The setup video shows it creates new network ID but if this supports EasyMesh, then it should use the same network ID so is it supporting EasyMesh or it is still old simple extender which does not support any seamless roaming due to separate network ID?

So if I have a router with SSID let's say "my-ssid" and then I extend the network using RE315, then it will keep the same SSID with seamless roaming or it will create "my-ssid-ext" (which normally creates roaming issues due to diff SSID).
