Model: RE200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am currently facing an issue where I have to again and again reconfigure the TP Link Extender after a power outage. This makes it equal to unusable since it should remember the host device it connected to before the outage. But rather it starts displaying only the power light and shows the TP Link Extender Wifi on my end devices which when you connect to, it asks to reconfigure.

Is this a expected behaviour of the RE200 or am I missing some setting to save the configuration?

Have you tried to reset the RE200 to its factory defaults an re-configure from scratch ? Press the reset button for about 10 seconds to reset the RE.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".
