Apologies for a rather basic question. My shed is about 25 meters from my house. It is supplied via the same consumer unit as the rest of the house, but does not share a ring-main with anything in the house. Can any WiFi extender, e.g. AV600, extend WiFi from my  router in the house? I have tried an antenna USB device attached to my computer in the shed but it is a bit unreliable.

  @Bradscopegems

If you're refering to a PLC device they should be on the same power curcuit - refer this FAQ for more details on these devices.

The other possible options are:

1. Installing a range extender to expand your main wirelss coverage.

2. Installing a wireless router in AP mode whiich involves additional cabling.
