Are you using the 841 as an AP, or as a Wireless Extender?

@d0ugmac1 I'm using it as an wifi extender but I have the older version of the device so I don't have the option showing up for me so I have to enable the WDS bridging option (and sorry for the late reply I sent the email to another person accidentally)

Honestly, it sounds like there is a firmware bug in the 841 where it doesn't resync the bridging function when the bridged network comes and goes.  Might save a lot of hair pulling if you buy a more recent device that just has the required functionality.

@d0ugmac1 thanks man for helping me with what you can really appreciate it. You're right I should buy a new device but before that I'm gonna try downloading different firmware versions if that doesn't work I'll probably just buy a new one. Thanks for the help again
