Model: RE200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: E4-FA-C4-9C-DE-7C

Good day. I can't connect the RE200 to my home wifi network. I have restarted and reset several times both on the PC and through the phone. Even according to the video instructions. Everything went OK. When I set the location of the RE200, only the power light is on. It transmits a wifi signal on both 2.4 and 5 G, but without the Internet. I verified the passwords and everything is OK. I don't know what else I'm doing wrong.

When configuring RE200 plug it in near your main router. Once configured place the RE200 at the desired location.

If it doesn't have internet access when it's at the desired location probably the wireless signal is too weak for RE200.

Good day. I did the RE200 settings 1m from the router. When moving to the desired location, nothing happened even after 5 minutes and only the power light was on and could not complete the setup. I repeated this several times, always with a restart and a new setting, until I left the RE200 1m from the router and always with zero results. I think my RE200 cannot be set up.

What make and model is your main router ?

When you did the RE200 settings 1m from the router was that successful ?

Did you try the WPS method for pairing these - here.

Good day. My main router is a TP Link brand. The basic setting of 1m from the router was always successful. WPS pairing failed. All the lights always came on when I reset. So why doesn't the WIFI signal strength light turn red at least when it's weak or non-existent.

So basically you're telling that the RE works only when is near the router, but when you place RE where it should be the connection brakes ? Is that correct ?

If that's the case check this FAQ on how to position your RE for optimal reception and performance.

No, RE doesn't even work near the router. As I wrote earlier, I moved the RE as close as possible to the router. The RE does not pick up the WIFI signal from the main router. I checked the passwords and they are fine.

What's your router model ? Do you see the router SSID when configuring the RE200 ? Which wireless band (2.4 or 5)GHz you're trying to extend ?

My router is a TP Link RB 951Ui-2HnD. Transmits 2.4 GHz. The RE200 sees the SSID.

What you've described is a MIkrotik RB951Ui-2HnD access point.

So your RE200 can see the Mikrotik 2.4GHz SSID but can't establish a wireless connection after completing the RE200 setup ?

Because in your post #5 you mentioned that when it's close to the Mikrotik AP it was always successful.

Another approach would be to connect your RE200 to another wireless router (your friend's place) just to exclude the Mikrotik AP issues.
