Model: Deco X50-5G
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.3

Hi,

I would like to understand the AT+QENG and AT+QCAINFO responses on my X50-5G, see screenshots below.

The PCC parameter (in the +QCAINFO) indicates that the primary carrier component is LTE, while 5G is noted as SCC (secondary carrier component). Does this mean that Deco is using 4G instead of 5G? But my Deco indicates 5G mode (White LED and Network Type is stated to be 5G).

My carrier is Tele2 (Sweden).

Best Regards

  @SignalQuality

Hi, Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Your Deco X50-5G does work on the 5G mode.

I think it is because your SIM carrier uses 5G-NSA service with a 4G Evolved Packet Core.

And the AT+QCAINFO are its current 5G carrier aggregation band combinations, for example, DC_3A-7A-20A_n78A.

I found an older post for your reference: https://www.nokia.com/about-us/newsroom/articles/5g-carrier-aggregation-explained/

Best regards.
