Firmware Version: 1.3.4 Build 20230906 rel.74809(5553)

My upload speed has suddenly decreased.  I am on AT&T 1Gig network.  The AT&T modem shows 900+ speeds for both.  I'm using a CAT6 3 ft cable to connect.  QOS is off.  Internet Port Negotiation speed is set to 1000 Mbsp Full Duplex.  When I run SpeedTest on my phone, I get similar results (from 15 feet away, IPhone 14, 571 Mbps Down, 288 Mbps Up).  My last reboot was this morning and upload is still slow.

So, is the AX11000 speedtest inaccurate or is my upload speed really slowing that much?

This is the history from the AX11000

Date                           Download      Upload

2024-04-29 7:07 AM 795.37 Mbps 121.2 Mbps

2024-04-29 7:06 AM 799.83 Mbps 123.26 Mbps

2024-03-26 9:37 AM 681.03 Mbps 556.34 Mbps

2024-03-24 9:29 AM 627.82 Mbps 572.68 Mbps

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

May I confirm your AT&T modem is a modem router? And how you test the speed from your AT&T modem? Also on your IPhone 14?

If you are experiencing slow Internet speed with your TP-Link Archer Router, here are some steps to help troubleshoot the issue:

1. Please use https://www.speedtest.net or the speedtest APP/CLI(https://www.speedtest.net/apps) for testing speed accurately.

2. Please make sure the speed of your ISP/Modem is good by connecting a PC directly into the ISP Modem/Router.

3. To verify wired(Ethernet) speed of your Router, please connect the PC directly into the LAN ports of the Router, make sure all Ethernet cables are CAT5E and above.

4. When testing with wireless, please connect your phone/laptop to the high speed network (5G/6G) instead of 2.4G. In order to reach maximum throughput over wireless, put the phone/Laptop next to the Router.

5. Check the router WAN or LAN specification on TP-Link official website, if they are 100Mbps port, the actual internet speed will not be higher than 100Mbps.

6. Here are some tips which might improve the speed of your Archer Router:

    1) If Ethernet speed is slower than expected, please try different Ethernet cables (CAT5E or above) on the Router.

    2) Disable QoS, please access http://tplinkwifi.net and go to Advanced >> QoS to disable it.

    3) Disable Parental Control, please go to Advanced >> Parental Control to disable it.

    4) If wireless speed is slower than expected, please go to Advanced >> Wireless Settings to change the 5GHz Wi-Fi channel, you may try different channels to find the best one for your environment.

    5) Disable SIP ALG and UPNP, please go to Advanced >> NAT Forwarding >> UPNP to disable UPNP, go to Advance >> Security to disable SIP ALG.

    6) Try a few other speedtest servers, other servers might reach better speeds.

  @Marvin_S

it turns out the AX11000 internal speed test is incorrect. When I run Speedtest on my cell phone, I get much faster upload results. I don't know why the internal Speedtest is so far off.

Hi, for a more accurate result,  it is suggested to make sure no apps or programs are running on devices on your network., when using the speedtest feature on the router.

If you confirm the speed is normal on a phone/laptop connected to the router wired/wirelessly, which should be ok.
