My fresh out of the box TL-MR6400 works fine except that, on my connected laptop, Windows 10 always reports there is no internet connection although there clearly is.
Any suggestions anyone - I guess this must be a common problem...
Thanks for the advice. I followed the article and manually set the Primary and Secondary DNS.
Windows now reports the Internet Connection status correctly!

Hi, can you get internet connection on your other devices, like mobile phone?
Can you see the LED showing normally on the router?
