Swish fibre and mesh link with RE315 unit

I have a single extender RE315 but my signal to the garage is too weak.
If I move my RE315 in the next room to my Swish fiber plume unit and then a second RE315 in the garage would this be a MESH network or just an extended or pushed network?
The plume is cabled into the modem but both RE315's will be wifi only.
Thanks for any help

Hi,
It is not possible to set up a Mesh network consisting of only TP-Link wireless range extenders.
A "Main Router" that supports EasyMesh or OneMesh is required to use RE315 devices as part of a Mesh network
So you will only be able to use both RE315 as regular Wi-Fi extenders.

@Stezza
Thank you for getting back on this.
So with my supplied Swish router (Plume) plugged in should I get something like a "Linksys MX4200SF" and place that in my garage to extend out there?

I doubt that a Linksys MX4200(SF) would be able to form a Mesh network together with a Plume device. Mesh variants of different manufacturers are usually not compatible with each other.
The business model of Plume appears to be that the customer gets as many "PowerPods" or "SuperPods" as is needed to cover the whole home with Wi-Fi.

@woozle Thanks for that. Unfortunately I only got one plume at the front of the house and my garage and children's bedrooms are at the back, the signal is terrible so really need to extend the signal.
I don't really know how this all works it rather confusing. Can I unplug my plume and replace it with a different router and mesh setup?

If possible do the following test.
Unplug the Ethernet cable from the Plume and then plug that end of the cable directly into the Ethernet port of a computer. If that computer can access the Internet normally without the Plume, then you could easily replace the Plume with any other Mesh setup.
In case the computer cannot get Internet access without the Plume, then it would be more difficult.

@woozle What a great idea!
I tried this and it worked without the Plume. So we are good to go with a different mesh system.
Really appreciate your help on this.
