offline access to settings menu
I used to be able to login to check my settings while offline but I can't do this recently. The bookmarked link now opens first in another screen advertising the app and to access this first screen I must be online. Could I change it back please? I don't have reliable internet connection.

Now I can see the screenshot. To be honest, it is strange to see this every time you log into the web interface.
We still need your cooperation to confirm some information.
1. Can you get internet access normally?
2. Please try to log in via different web browser.
3. Please try to log in via different devices. If you did this on PC before, please try on your phone.

1. internet is normal - quite slow anyway around here and I'm on a data card (the usual provider) on the router but connected to laptop with ethernet cable.
2. Currently using Firefox browser in ubuntu which gets the tethering ad. I tried it on same system using Chromium browser and it goes straight to the login page without the ad but still requires an internet connection.
3. I tried a different windows laptop using Firefox and had the same result - no ad but requires internet connection.
As I'm connected via ethernet cable, shouldn't laptop connect to router without internet connection?
