Hi,

I know that in the EU, Wi-Fi 6 transmit power is limited to the LPI device class on the 6GHz band - resulting in 23dBm (200mW) max EIRP.

In the UK, the limit for LPI is actually 24dBm (250mW).

Would it be possible for customers in this country to be able to make use of the additional power (especially when using 6GHz as dedicated backhaul between Decos)?

It would clearly improve range/coverage/speed of existing mesh networks built using these devices.

Thanks

Just following myself up here / it seems rival products (eg the eero 6E plus) already have this higher power setting enabled in the UK. So something to consider….

Can TPLink tell us if this is even technically feasible on the hardware we already have - or are we stuck with burned in limits?
