It is a pity that your requests can not be done here. XX230v is a customized model for ISPs, which means there may be difference on its featureS/functions in different regions/countries. Also the firmware is released and decided by ISP. It is suggested to contact your local ISP for further confirmation. If you still have doubts, you may also contact TP-Link local support.

After I bought this router, of course, I go to my ISP for setup and it was done, but in case that my ISP support only EPON fiber connection, they setup router for WAN Ethernet connection and sell my additional ONU for fiber connection. Then my ISP tell me if I want use build-in router GPON port without additional ONU device for direct connection with ISP I need to ask manufacturer of the device and firmware add EPON (XPON) support into device's firmware, ISP DO NOT MAKE firmware for devices, so go to device manufacturer for support...

Im already contacted TP-Link local support by e-mail support.ua@tp-link.com and receive answer "Regarding EPON, we will forward your request to the R&D department." That is all. Just hope it is no going to nowhere...
