Please would you advise.

I have EE fibre broadband with a hub and a wireless extender.  I need to have wireless broadband in my garden office but it is too far for a wireless signal.  I have run an external ethernet cable between the buildings.

What devices do I need at each end to give me several wireless connections at the garden room office?  Is it just a single device at the garden room connected via the cable to the wireless extender in the house that is needed, or is it more compicated than that?.  What devices are recommended?  I would like the wireless connections in the office to be as fast as the fibre broadband in the house.

You can just run an ethernet cable from your wireless range extender to an AP in your garden office (AP could a dedicated AP or any wireless router in AP mode).

Keep in mind that the connection maximum speed would be achieved if you connect your ethernet cable directly to your Smart Hub Plus.

Thank you for your reply.  I have got hold of an old TP-link TL-WA801ND 300Mbps Wireless N Access Point; will this do what I need?

It will, but if you're after a good bandwidth, you'll need a gigabit AP with a 5 GHz wireless band (for example Archer C64 in AP mode).

You can setup your existing AP and if you're not satisfied by the bandwidth you can always upgrade to a faster device.
