Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.16 Build 20230828 rel.44667(5553)

i am using TP-Link Archer C6 v3.2 (US). The wireless performance on 2.4 GHz has been very problematic. My internet speed is 100 mbps, there's no issue on the 5 GHz band both speeds and latency wise but while using the 2.4 GHz band, the speed is totally random each time (between 10 to 60) and the ping is extremely high like upwards of 500 easily and i have confirmed that this issue only happens on the 2.4 GHz band so it can't really be an ISP issue. Also this issue occurs even when i am literally sitting right next to router so its not any normal loss of signal. i am attaching a system log from the router if it helps

There is some problem or bug with the forum, its not letting me post the system log so i could send it elsewhere if required. Bufferfloat grade A on LAN/5 GHz vs grade F on 2.4 GHz

On another note, my router is still under warranty, i could probably get it replaced but would prefer if somehow the support team from here is able to get around this issue assuming its not a hardware problem

  @xd003

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

If you found speed got slower or high ping, you may refer to FAQ2170  or FAQ2723 to troubleshoot.

If still the same issue, it is suggested to contact local support to confirm further.

  @Marvin_S hello, i have performed some more debugging and testing. After keeping smart connect off and testing both the WiFi bands extensively for 24 hours, the issue only occurs on the 2.4 GHz so i have updated my post to reflect the same

  @xd003

Hi, when did you purchase the router? When did the issue start happening?

If changing channel and channel width does not help, it is suggested to contact retailer to confirm warranty or local support center for further advice.
