Hi, thanks for posting question here.
If only your ring doorbell has trouble connecting to the Router Wi-Fi network:
1) Check the Block List in the Tether APP.
3) Login the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, disable the "Smart Connect" and set different wifi names for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wifi band. As I know, some smart devices can only support 2.4Ghz wireless connection.
4) Change the encryption method of 2.4Ghz into "WPA2-PSK/WPA-PSK" to improve compatibility with clients.
If the issue persists, it is suggested to contact doorbell support for some advice. Also, please share us the model number and hardware version of your TP-Link router.
