Dear TP-Link Team,

I am writing to request the addition of Smart Queue Management (SQM) support for the Archer AX72. SQM is a crucial feature for optimizing network performance, particularly in environments with multiple devices and high bandwidth usage.

SQM helps in managing and prioritizing network traffic, significantly reducing bufferbloat, latency, and jitter. This results in a smoother and more responsive internet experience, particularly for real-time applications such as gaming, video conferencing, and VoIP calls. For users like myself who rely heavily on consistent and low-latency network performance, the absence of SQM can be quite limiting.

Incorporating SQM into the Archer AX72 would not only enhance the user experience but also align with TP-Link’s commitment to providing high-quality, reliable networking solutions. I believe many users would greatly benefit from this feature, and it would add significant value to product.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to seeing continued improvements and features that enhance our networking experience.

Best regards

  @Dantero

Hello, thank you for posting on the TP-Link community, and we certainly appreciate all your feedback and feature request here.

While we don't have any specific details that I can share around if this feature can come to your home router, or when it might, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.

I'm moving this conversation into the ‘Feature Request (Routers)' area and tagging it as a ‘Future Consideration’ for better visibility.

Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.
