How to solve high latency issue in wireless, even if the router and laptop is closer?

Can you share the issue with more details? Then we can locate the issue and provide exact suggestions.
Also, does the issue only happen on your computer? When did the issue start happening? Is your computer connected to 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz wifi band?
The issue is in both band width 2.4 gHz & 5gHz and all devices connected.
