So, what happens if you do enter the router's local password manually?

I think you can only try if restarting the router (unplug and re-plug the power adapter) makes any difference.

If the GX90's local password had somehow changed, then there would be no way to get into it without the new password.

Are you the only person who knew the GX90's local password?
