I recently got Ting internet service. Ting supplied an ADTRAN ONT in my house which provides an ethernet jack. My macbook is able to negotiate and recieve an IP address via DHCP when connected to this jack, but the ER605 has never succeeded in recieving an IP address from Ting for the WAN port. I have rebooted, updated the firmware and did a factory reset multiple times while trying to get an internet connection.

I select "Dynamic IP" as the connection method (I assume this means DHCP):
 

However, all attempts have resulted in the errors:

I can find no way to increase the timeout for DHCP-DISCOVERY.  I tried switching to the alternate WAN1 port, but it made no difference.

I would be happy to buy another TP-Link gateway, but I am afraid all of them use the same code for DHCP. If anyone has Ting internet service and has a router that works, please let me know. If anyone has any ideas of things to try for this issue I would appreaciate those suggestions too.

This has been very frustrating. I started trying to configure the whole system from an OC200 (web interface) but had to switch to direct configuration of the ER605 to get ANY diagnostic feedback. The OC200 reported successful firmware upgrades when they had in fact failed.
