Hello!

I am planning to extend my deco network by daisychaining 3 Deco X50 POEs. The network configuration I am conisdering is Modem -> BE65 (Main Router) -> POE+ Switch -> X50POE (1) -> X50POE (2) -> X50POE (3). The "->" symbol denotes ethernet cable. The switch is unmanaged and has enough power budget.

My question is, will the 2nd and 3rd X50POEs receive PoE from the switch?

Thank you...

  @AMH

Hi

From the topology point of view, X50POE (2) and X50POE (3) are connected in series to the main Deco, rather than directly connected to the PoE switch. I am afraid that in this case, X50POE (2) and X50POE (3) will not receive PoE power supply from switch.
