Hi,

I intend to purchase a 2 pack Mesh to extend WiFi on my ISP delivered ONT router (no replacment possible as on LAN is feeding IP TV's),

so should I go for X55 or the substantialy cheaper X50?

I run through the comparision chart, they are almost similar, the X55 has some additional software features not interesting for me.

Is there some hardware difference between the X50 and the new X55?
 

Also I would like to know if the setup can be done without the TP Link app, through web interface on local IP address?
