Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disconnect and reconnect restores the connection

2.4G WiFi band of my router stops working frequently, internet access suddenly drops in connected devices. Disconnecting and reconnecting the network restores the connectivity even if the connection is again established in 2.4G band. The 5G band has never shown the issue, even when 2.4G band is not working.
I have updated the firmware of the router to latest available version two days ago from Tether app, but the issue is still available.
Is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue?
