2.4G WiFi band of my router stops working frequently, internet access suddenly drops in connected devices. Disconnecting and reconnecting the network restores the connectivity even if the connection is again established in 2.4G band. The 5G band has never shown the issue, even when 2.4G band is not working.

 

I have updated the firmware of the router to latest available version two days ago from Tether app, but the issue is still available.

 

Is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

You may adjust 2.4GHz channel width into 20MHz referring to this guide, reduce wireless interference around and reduce the distance between your devices and the router.

If all the devices still often get disconnected from 2.4GHz band , you may contact retailer to confirm warranty.
