How to Turn Off OneMesh
How to Turn Off OneMesh

I am using the MR500 router for a backup WAN connection. Wi-Fi is disabled, however the OneMesh signals (with the hidden SSIDs) are still being transmitted and are causing interference with the devices next to it. How do I turn off OneMesh? There seems to be no option for this (like the EasyMesh option in other routers). This needs to be fixed and soonest.

My MR500 has been on the shelf for awhile as it is not being used at the moment. The download site listed a newer firmware so I downloaded it and upgraded the router. I am very disappointed to see that the option to disable OneMesh is still not incorporated into the newer firmware. I had to revert back to the beta firmware to again turn off the OneMesh signal. ,-((
I just downloaded the latest Tether app for the iPhone from Apple's App Store and there is no option to disable OneMesh as stated in earlier posts. Again ,-((

Just downloaded the latest Tether app for IoS (Version 4.9.14) and still no OneMesh disable feature. The latest firmware tested does not provide a way to disable OneMesh either. I will continue to use the beta firmware but it would be nice to see this issue finally fixed.

Any ETA on when we will get this option in the public release?
Could I please get access to the beta firmware too?
Before you ask: my MR500 is my backup-router it's WiFi is deactivated and it's linked via ethernet to my network infrastructure that handles fail over. I have a lot of IoT devices so I want to reduce 2.4GHz radio as much as possible and the OneMesh feature blasts at full power on exactly the channel I need for Zigbee (Channel 11)
Thank you in advance
