I took newer firmware TL-WR820N(RU)_V2_1.12.0 Build 240329 from there:
https://www.tp-link.com/ru/support/download/tl-wr820n/v2/#Firmware

When trying to install it im getting: Failed to upgrade the firmware. Please check the configuration file and try again.

I tried installing from different browsers and devices

Also i thought about downloading the firmware from the Ukrainian version of the tplink site, but for my router they are not there:

How can I install the 1.12.0 firmware build?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

If the country version of your router is not RU version, it is not suggested to upgrade your router to the firmware of RU version. We can not guarantee they are compatible.

If there is not newer firmware for your router, that means your current firmware version has been the latest.

  @Marvin_S i see that in 1.12.0 version there are many changes and stability fixes. Now I can’t say that my router is working stable on current firmware build, that's why im trying to find newer version compatible with my router. Maybe you know where can i get the 1.12.0 build for the European region?
