TP-Link Archer AX58 drops internet connection every 8 to 10 hours.LED goes red and then off
Hi
I have a similar problem to this thread on my Archer AX58 :
TP-Link Archer AX55 drops internet connection every 8 to 10 hours. All lights stay ON green.
https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/610734?sortDir=ASC
The only exception is that the LED showing connection to my DSL modem goes red and then off.
i.e. every 8-10hours the AX58 router drops the connection to my DSL modem.
I have even swapped out the DSL modem and no change.
The only workaround I have is to power-off / -on the AX58 router. I cannot see anything in the logs as these seem to get lost at power-off.
Please can you help out as my internet connection is essential as I work from home.
Thanks!
Andrew

Hello, I have same issue. Bought an AX-58 recently and experiencing Internet connection drop only, like OP. Same setup, with router and EasyMesh with CPL. Working fine except router is losing Internet connection every 8 to 10h and need reboot to restore it. Box is fine. What was solution provided ? Regards,
@Rhoth I have been working with a great support engineer from TP Link and it looks like we have found the problem but not yet got a solution: the problem is the incompatiblity between TL-WPA8631P and AX58 - looks to be a memory leak.
There is no issue with compatibility between TL-WPA7617 and AX58.
So currently I am living with only half a mesh (I have disconnected TL-WPA8631P from the network) and waiting for the software fix.
Hope this helps?
Do you also have TL-WPA8631P?
Cheers

@anderigs That is exactly my case. TL-WPA8631P v4.0 (4.0.2 Build 20230817 Rel.58509) and Archer AX58 v2.0 (1.0.3 Build 20240123 rel.24345(4555)).
Router is losing Internet connection every 8 to 10h in the worse scenario, 24h in the best . Hope they find a solution soon.
Thanks

@PabloCP I just got a potential fix version - it is still beta - I just installed it and plugged in my TL-WPA8631P. If my AX58 doesn't crash over the next 24hours I will post the link here tomorrow.

@PabloCP I have installed the firmware and it is working - now up for 4 days - you can download the firmware from here:
