Model: RE605X
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.3

Hello,

I am trying to fix an existing network that consists of a TP-LINK AX3000 Archer AX55 router and 3 TP-LINK RE605X extender APs.

In EasyMesh mode, the extenders connect to the router via WiFi, but unfortunately, in this mode, they do not work well: there are too many walls in between and the signal is too weak.

Fortunately, the house is wired, and the individual extenders could be connected to the router via cable.

I tried, but I couldn't find how to configure the right settings.

So my question is: can the extenders be configured to function as APs with the same SSID as the main router but receive the signal from the wired network?

Thank you.

RE605X doesn't support Easymesh with an ethernet backhaul - details.

In your case you should configure RE650X in AP mode and set the same SSID as on the AX55.
