High CPU and slow through-put
Just updated to a ER707-M2 from a Fortigate FG61F
Latest firmware loaded. 1.2.2 Build 20240324 Rel. 42799
Bottom of the unit says it's v1.6 but the gui shows v1.0. TP-Link has 2 download links for the different versions but they appear to be the same in this case.
Throughput seems slower than it should be. I was getting nearly a gig with my Fortigate FG-60F and at just 150Mbps of throughput the CPU is pegged at 100%
What am I missing?

Hi @DACZ
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
Common Questions About the Hardware Version and Firmware Update
About the throughput, the DPI or IDS will require the CPU to examine every packet pattern and signature.
The DPU cannot do this job so it is left idle. When you disable the DPI/IDS, you get DPU working again. So, the throughput looks much better.
