TP-LINK Archer AX1500 in Access Point mode, kills LAN ports?
New AX1500. Put it in access Mode, and it does a great job spreading wi-fi around the house.
I was rather disappointed to find that this mode makes the LAN ports inoperative.
Previous Asus routers placed in AP mode, allowed the LAN ports to work, similar to a switch.
Is it possible to set the AX1500 up that will allow the Lan ports to operate while in Access Point mode?

Actually when configured in AP mode AX1500 LAN ports work as a network switch - here's how (Case 1) to configure AX1500 in AP mode.

Thank you for the reply.
I have it set up as per "Case 1", However the LAN ports are not working.

[Update]
The LAN ports are now working fine in Access Point mode.
The issue was caused by myself using a defective Cat 6 patch cable.
Once it was replaced with a new one, everything is operating correctly.
Sorry to have wasted your time, and thanks again for your guidance.
Cheers,
Max
