My Archer AX5400 router randomly reset and the restart after 2-3 minutes
Since last 4-5 months I am facing issues with my router being randomly reset automatically and then restart within 2-5 min. During this whole time I am unable to connect any internet services. I don't know what's the issues with the router. Does anyone had same issues with Archer AX5400? It is frustrating as this router I bought recently (within 6 months only). Your support or suggestions will help me to resolve this issues.
since I don't find proper model number so selected here Archer A5(but my correct model is AX5400)
thanks

Hi, thanks for posting question on our community.
I am afraid AX5400 is not the model number, it is only one of specifications. Usually, you may find the model on the bottom label of the router.
May I confirm how did you find the router reset and restart? According to the LED status? I can not sure it is a auto-reboot or unstable issue according to your description.
Can you share s short video to show the process of reset and restart?
If it is unstable connection problem, it is suggested to follow this troubleshooting guide.

@Marvin_S I double checked through app also and it says model number as AX5400, I am not sure if there are any other places to confirm it.
about issues- Randomly what I see internet disconnected on all devices and I can see all LED lights were turned off on router. Then slowly it stars power up again one by one same as when we turn on the device. So by looking into this it definitely seems that device has been resetting automatically. It happens almost 4-5 times a day minimum. If needed I can try to get it on video but it's random so need to make timing correct.

Hi, sorry, maybe this model is sold only in your region, so I failed to check it and you failed to select it here.
May I confirm some information to understand your situation better?
1. What is your exact network topology? If you have a modem, what is the model of your modem?
2. So the issue happened since you purchased and installed the router?
3. Did you ever try different power sockets for the router? And are you using original power adapter from the box?
4. Next time when the issue happens and after the router restores the connection, can you log into the Web UI of the router, go to Advanced>>System Tools>>System Log>>Save log and share us?

Here is the requested details.
1. Modem is NTT docomo GE-ONU.
2. I believe yes it is since I purchased it in February 2024 onwards but never considered this as issues earlier.
3. Yes for both questions, issues remain same.
4. please find the logs just after router recovers from reset. One interesting thing is that Date of loga changed as soon as router restarted which is very strange. I took logs today 29th Aug but it is recording it as 08th May 2024 even it started from 1970 very funny 😄. Also I have a video recording for router behavior as well but size of video is >250mb so can't upload here.
please suggest if I should consider it as HW issues and ask for return?

Hi, thanks for your update.
After consulting engineering team, it is hard to confirm the issue according to your log. You may confirm warranty with local retailer or support.
BTW, 1970 is correct time record after route reboot.
