Hi All!

I've got a scenario where I want to use ER605 as VPN server, and limit bandwidth for connected clients (limit their speed accessing Internet back from VPN network, but I don't mind limiting their whole connection)

Is this possible ?

I've tried to use "Bandwidth Control" with "Network Source" set to either IP Group or Network (containing VPN clients).

Basically, "Bandwidth Control" works as expected for clients connected physically from LAN, but VPN clients always ignore all limits, even when "Bandwidth Control" rule applies to all networks / ip groups.

Is my scenario possible / supported ?

I don't think it is supported in the current firmware, but it is good to have it. Are you expecting the bandwidth control to be set per client?

I think the way current 'Bandwidth Control' policies are configured is enough to support all scenarios, including per-user. It just need to works with VPN traffic as well. Alternatively, separate setting for VPN could be in 'VPN'->'Users' section, per user.
