Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.6 Build 20240407 rel.43274(4555)

Environment: Problem with Windows 11 clients but also with Sonos and other network devices.

When I insert a new device in the network or do a "config /release - /renew", the Windows clients get the error: "An error occurred while renewing interface Ethernet : The name specified in the network control block (NCB) is in use on a remote adapter". The Windows problem solver says that the device cannot reach the DHCP server.

In some cases, after a while, the Windows client receives and IP address after all.

I have about 50 network clients using DHCP (with and W/O reservation) and 5 servers with fixed IP addresses. Reducing the number of clients does not help.

My lease pool ranges from 10.11.12.100 to 10.11.12.249.

Until a couple of weeks ago all worked fine. As far as I know, no changes were made to the network.

This problem is driving me crazy. Any help is very much appreciated.

Eric

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

It is suggested to take factory reset on the router, reconfigure it and reconnect all clients to the router.

You may also reboot all your clients as well.
