Archer NX200 aggregation (CA)
Dear users and technical specialists,
I would like to ask if this router - Archer NX200 - can aggregate (combine) 5G and 4G together... or it can work only in either 5G or 4G.
I need to know if this 5G router is able to combine these specific frequencies : 5G (N28) + 4G (B1, B3 and B20)
thank you in advance,
Jimmydix

Hi,
Thanks for posting on TP-Link Community.
Archer NX200 can combine 5G and 4G.
It may work to combine 5G (N28) + 4G (B1, B3 and B20) but it does not allow to control it manually. It also depends on the SIM provider.

Dear Sunshine,
thank you very much for your confirmation. If this archer NX200 can really merge 5G and 4G together then I would be a happy customer.
Sim card that I will be using in the modem has speed limited to 150 Mbps (the limit is somewhat flexible so it can go +15% faster) so combining 5G (N28 gives me around 40-60Mbps) and 4G together (B1+B20 gives me 50-90 Mbps) would optimaly utilize the sim card´s tariff
Currently the BTS tower servicing my location has 5G (N28) and 4G in B1, B3 and B20 variant.
I guess my other question would be : How many frequencies can Archer nx200 combine together ? I found out it has 8 antennas 2x2 mimo (I dont know how many antennas are 5G and how many 4G) so it can combine 4 channels together?
Archer Nx200 has also externall antenna slots which I would use with external antenna - I also dont know if those externall antenna slots support low frequencies (in my case 700-2100)
I was testing my expensive Zyxel nr7101 there which I took for testing from another property and it was able to aggregate 3 frequencies: N28 + B1+B20. B3 signal was propably too weak so the modem choosed B20 instead.
Thank you for more clarification on this.
Jimmy

Hello @Sunshine,
can you also please confirm if the device is able to use the carrier aggregarion between different bands over 4G GSM net? I'd like to use it with a SIM that does not support 5G. I'm a very very happy user of Archer MR600...that is a Cat6 carrier aggregator (max 2 possible bands for CA). I'd not have asked here if this info there had been present in the Mr600 VS NX200 comparions chart:
