Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am beginning to regret buying TP-Link products and am fast losing trust in the brand. The signal strength on these does not seem to be good at all. Lots of problems. Devices keep on getting discommected or become slow. This could be channel interference. The channels are auto configured, there is no way to override it in order to set channels manually.

I'd like to know from users of the Deco XE75 Pro:-

1. Have TP-Link resolved these issues in the form of a firmware upgrade?

2. Any tips and work-arounds to make them work because unfortunately I am not able to return the 6 units I bought.

3. Is anyone out there using it with a Starlink router?

4. The main or master module is wired to a Starlink router, one solution I can think of is to wire all the wireless slave or sat units which defies the whole idea of a mesh network but I am frustrated and looking for a credible solution so that I can have peace of mind.

My house has solid stone walls and that is why I bought extra modules for coverage after reading some positive reviews. I've realised that I need to reserach products thoroughly in future before making decisions, my mistake.

Any input, help or suggestions will be appreciated.

  @Samazar

Hi,

Deco devices can work with Starlink router normally, please do not worry.

Will all your satellite Deco units have an unstable issue?

The thick stone walls may affect the wireless signal between the Deco units, please check the signal source, signal strength, and distance of each Satellite Deco unit. Signal source and signal strength can be viewed in the Deco app.

If the main Deco is also unstable, please test whether the internet from the Starlink router is stable or not.

The latest firmware will be released on our official website, if it is not the latest, you can update the firmware for the Deco devices.
