Firmware Version: 1.0.0

Hello everyone,

I’m currently experiencing challenges with my i9 core laptop while using the TP-Link Archer AX11000. There are several issues affecting performance and connectivity that have become quite frustrating.

Here are some specific problems I've encountered:

  1. Connectivity Issues: My i9 core laptop frequently disconnects from the TP-Link Archer AX11000, causing interruptions during important tasks. This has made it difficult to maintain a stable connection, especially during high-demand activities.

  2. Slow Internet Speeds: Despite having high-speed internet, I’m noticing slower-than-expected speeds when connected to the TP-Link Archer AX11000. This is impacting my ability to download large files and stream content smoothly.

  3. Network Configuration Challenges: Configuring the TP-Link Archer AX11000 for optimal performance has proven to be complex. I am unsure about the best settings to use to ensure efficient data transfer and connectivity.

  4. Firmware Updates: I’ve encountered difficulties with updating the firmware on the TP-Link Archer AX11000. Ensuring the router is running the latest firmware is crucial for optimal performance, but the update process seems to be problematic.

Any advice or insights on resolving these issues with the TP-Link Archer AX11000 would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help!

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

For your several questions, here are my suggestions below for your reference:

1. Please check whether your other clients can connect to the router stably. You may refer to this guide to check your settings.

2. If you think speed is slow, please connect your laptop to 5GHz-1 band, test speed via www.speedtest.net and check link speed(following this guide). Please share the screenshots of the results.

3. You may choose 5GHz-1 band, but keep laptop not far from the router.

4. If your router is US version(checking on bottom label), it is suggested to download latest firmware from this official website and upgrade it manually.
