Set up mesh Deco with separate ethernet connections
Hello,
I have bought 2 sets of 3 Decos (totally 6). The building have 2 levels and blind spots. I have already set up main Deco and 2 "clients".
The clients connect wirelessly with the main Deco.
In each room there are ethernet cable wall plugs (same local network) that can be used to any device,
Is it possible to have a mesh network and each Deco device use the wall plug to get network (and internet) instead of using the wireless connection with the main?
If I choose to setup each deco as different netwok (different SSID) using the cable connection on each deco I will have perfect signal but I will lose the mesh capability.
Any ideas?

In future scenario the decos will be at access point mode? Rooms will have the option to print on network printer?
I don't think it is a good idea to put the main deco between router and main switch, as it will get all the load of the home (apart from 4 rooms there are more devices connected). Am I correct?
You have two options, if you want everything to be on the same LAN and printer available to everyone.
Option 1. In your current topology, you must place Main Deco between the switch and router;
Option 2. Again, using your current topology. Configure Deco mesh to run in Access Point mode and you can connect Deco units (including Main Deco) to any Ethernet ports you want. See Switching a Deco to Access Point (AP) Mode
I would recommend this option. You are right, if you place Main Deco between router and main switch, it'll take all load and might not be able to handle it. This, second option, eliminates the requirement that Main Deco must be between switch and router.
This is how I run Deco mesh at my place.
You will not need to add secondary switch for either option. That is unnecessary.
You may need to replace your current switch if it is not compatible with Deco mesh Ethernet backhaul, but try first - and if everything works, no need to replace it.

It is possible to use Ethernet to have wired link between Deco units. You will not need to configure each Deco as different network for that.

@Alexandre. thank you very much for your answer!
Through the article I understand that I have to add a switch that will be dedicated to DECO setup.
In my topology all wall plugs end on the main switch. All devices can print to a network printer on the same network.
In future scenario the decos will be at access point mode? Rooms will have the option to print on network printer?

Ideally you have one router, (which provides DHCP to your devices). The extra 5 DECOs would be "nodes". So on your diagram it would he preferred to replace the "router" with a DECO, then set up a mesh with the 5 others. I'm not 100% sure X10s support Ethernet Backhaul but it is worth a try.
EDIT- You would not need the extra switch just plug each DECO to the wall/Ethernet outlet in each room.
