The omada controller runs its own internal mongodb instance.

It will be great if in the UI you can provide a section for users to update mongodb credentials to know values which essentially will enable people access to the internal mongodb for more versatility.

I have seen many people trying to setup external mongodb for omada.

The main issue that has actually made me use external mongodb is for the fact that the internal mongodb cannot be accessed since the credentials are not known.

hi  @saidearly

Hello, thank you for posting on the TP-Link community, and we certainly appreciate all your feedback and feature requests here. While we don't have any specific details that I can share around if this feature can come to all the Omada controller, or when it might, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.
Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.
