What is the optimal height to maximize coverage when pole mounting an EAP 610? I imagine the higher the better. But how high is too high?

I've looked at the signal strength plots in the EAP data sheet. Unfortunately, there is no explanation of how to interpret the plots! For us mere mortals, what is azimuth, elevation, and theta? How do I turn the 2D radiation pattern plots into the 3D bubble they truly represent?

Also, the EAP 610 outdoor plots do not show the device image in the middle. So how do I know which way to point the device?

Hi  @dbgarlisch

Your wireless client should be mostly on the floor, right?
It is recommended that you just install them 1-2 stories high.

Normally, people will install it on a roof. If it is too high the client will not receive the signal.
