Ring doorbell refusing to connect to MR6400
I have swapped this router/modem in for a VirginMedia (cable modem in the UK) and all of my ring devices have stopped connecting.
They seem to ask for, and get an address via DHCP (and I see tem show up in the router's web interface) but then drop off again.
This seems to be a known problem, but I haven't found a solution.
I seem to get (from the logs) the sequence:
- device joins
- DHCP DISCOVER
- DHCP OFFER
- DHCP REQUEST
- DHCP ACK
The ring device connects to the wifi and (obviously ) gets an address, but then it stalls for a long wile at "95% complete" and then times out and fails.
Any ideas what is causing this and what I have to change to get it to work - I can't believe it *can't* work.

Hi,
Thanks for your update.
While you wait for suggestions from Ring Support, you can also try the following troubleshooting steps on the router:
1. Check the advanced settings like mac filtering on the MR6400.
2. Create a 2.4G guest network for the ring devices.

Hi,
Thanks for posting on TP-Link Community.
Please connect other devices and test if the issue only happens to ring devices.
You can try to connect the ring devices with other WIFI or hotspots.
If the issue only occurs with the Ring device, you can also contact Ring's support to inquire whether any specific settings need to be configured on the router.

Yes, this only happens when connecting Ring devices and only on the new wifi router.
All other devices connect quite happily on the old wifi router and the TPlink one.
I have also asked on the RIng forums, but got no response there yet.
