setting up ip-phone - is it enough to set LAN port as IP-Phone? or are there anything else?
Is there anything else that is needed when setting up the IP Phone?
Or it is enough to put IP-Phone on specific LAN(Advanced > Network > IPTV/VLAN > Custom)
Router: TP Link AC1200 C6
Phone: Axtel AX400G
ISP: Telekom (Germany) Fiber Optic
Because I'm trying to follow the instructions on the Axtel website, and I cannot seem to get the IP if I connect it to an IP-Phone LAN.
But if I connect it to other ports that isn't IP-Phone (e.g. Internet, IPTV), I can get it but nothing is happening when I try to set it up.
Thanks!

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
I checked that your Axtel AX400G seems a fixed phone. According to my understanding, only a router/a modem router with VoIP function can meet your needs. But Archer C1200 is a normal wireless router.
BTW, there has been newer firmware version on your local official. You may update it according to your needs.

@Marvin_S ah ok. Just when I thought it would work, because there was an option to set the port to IP-Phone.
Anyway thank you!

Verify again that you have setup everything correctly. Typing any incorrect information into any of the required entry fields would cause it to fail.

@woozle Yes I used those info on Telekom website to set it up. But I'm actually not so sure if I'm entering things correctly - so I actually contacted Axtel's support for assistance and waiting for their reply.
I was just wondering if there are other things to consider. Because when I searched, there seems to be some additional fields on the router's config (the 192.168.1.1), which I cannot find, that allows entering the phone # - although this is for a different router (VR### something)
