Firmware Version: 1.6.1 Build 20231227 Rel. 53644

I am using Deco E4 for several times. i want to control users using my wi-fi. but unfortunately there is not access control mode available there in Deco. as like other tp link router have. not even mac filtering. i can block may be 100 peoples. if they change their MAC to Device to Random when i block a client he can able to access my wi-fi though i have blocked him. can you please enclose the access control feature or MAC filtering feature to you deco?

While we don't have any specific details that I can share around if this feature can come to your home router, or when it might, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the related team.

Currently, only some Deco models support Wi-Fi Access Control. You may refer to this guide to know more.

does anyone know which models have the access control feature? I'm using x50's which don't seem to! Looking to invest into some models that do!

Hi, welcome to our community.

You may refer to the guide to check the supported model list. So Deco X50 should support Wi-Fi Access Control.

But did you set Deco X50 as main Deco? If your main Deco does not support Access Control, you may not find this feature on Deco app.

As different Deco models may support different advanced features,when they set up Deco mesh network, some features may disappear.

It is also suggested to update both firmware of Decos and app version to latest.
