Model: RE330
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.23 Build 230418 Rel.60395n (6985)

Can I replace the LAN port of RE330 to 1 Gbps LAN port? And, will it give me internet speed over 200 Mbps (my provider tarif) with access point mode?

You can browse to the TP-Link product webpage for your country and filter for "Gigabit" and "AP Mode" to find out what is available to you.

example: https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/range-extender/?filterby=4860%2CAND%7C6425

Hi,

The LAN port of a RE330 cannot be replaced. The chip (SoC) used inside the RE330 only supports Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps).

Could you please suggest any extender that I can use at AP mode with gigabit LAN port?

Thanks in advance!

@woozle Hi, can the LAN port be configured from which SSID he gets the IP from (i am using 2,4GHz for SmartHome with different address) but would like to extend also the 5GHz WiFi (providing different subnet)?
