5G Not stable, frequent disconnection with 5-10 seconds disturbances

I do notice frequent disconnection/connection on 5G network, reconnect takes 5-15 seconds. Syslog shows below messages.

I only use 4G mode now, and since then I've only had to restart once a month, if at all.

True,
4G/3G modes works fine.
5G mode with N77 multiple problems pops up. N78,N40 minimal problems, I thought unique to my ISP only.
Support still working for root cause.

Worked with support using multiple firmware and my conclusion so far.
Neighboring cells above 29 starts resetting modems or network services tracked on test firmware 1.5.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 240814 Rel.59161n_Beta
Other beta/test firmware breaks Network stacks like wifi , Lan , Routing , NAT with manual "Band Search" set to N77 for Neighboring cells above 22. Sometime network recovers or modem/network resets.
Two other weird issue.
DNS switching Primary to secondary do break WAN access to connected devices
Few conditions modem re-initialization takes 8 seconds (6s sleeping)
My setup NX200 connected via cable to ASUS mesh network.

hi, I have the same issue on my Nx600 v1.0 with (firmware 1.1.0 3.0.0 v60c8.0 Build 240822 Rel.78050n :
- One crash with auto-reboot every week
- Mode 5G/4G/3G
- Band : auto (N3 selected)
- MCC/MNC : 208/01
I am trying in 4G/3G mode to see if the issue is still present. Do you know if a new firmware will correct the issues identified in 5G/4G/3G mode ?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.
Sorry that I got a little confused about your information. If you make sure it is auto-reboot on the router, it seems that the issue above is not the same as yours. Also, you have different models.
May I confirm some information to understand your situation better?
1. Who is the ISP of your sim card?
2. When the router gets crash, what is the exact problematic phenomenon? How about the LED status on the router(you may try to record a short video)? Can you still log into the web UI of the router?
If you can, please go to Advanced >>Status and share us the screenshot of the Status page.
3. After the router gets crash, how long it take for the router to take auto-reboot? And is it the only way for the router to back to normal?
4. Did you ever try different sim card?
5. Welcome to share more details if you have.
Thanks for your cooperation and have a nice day.

The router runs on 3G/4G without crashes, a problem that many 5G routers experience. I initially got a 5G router from my internet provider O2. Because it had this problem, I canceled the router and bought one from TP Link myself, but this one also has the same problem: 5G crashes every X number of days, just like yours, and it can only be fixed by restarting the router for now. Interestingly, according to the O2 network map, 5G can only be used to a limited extent indoors! Strangely, my phone works with 5G but without any restrictions. I think it's more likely that it's the routers themselves that can't reconnect if the connection is lost. Only 5G mode doesn't work because the internet provider requires a kind of 5G Plus plan, or rather, the cell towers aren't designed for it. As far as I know, 5G normally only works in conjunction with 4G because different packets are exchanged over it. So, the problem must be here, because with 3/4/5G the connection is lost, and with 3/4G it remains stable. My router has been running for 4 months without a crash. So it can only be related to the handling of 5G.
I have to say, though, that I'm really happy with 3/4G so far; I still get 100 Mbps, so leaving the router on 3/4G would be an alternative to keep it stable! I know that's not an option for some people, but in my contract, it would only have been a €3 difference per month whether I had 4G internet or 5G. My download speed was 100 to 50 Mbps, and my upload speed was 40 to 10 Mbps, which is why I stuck with 5G.

Waiting for Support feedback as I noticed predictable error conditions between diferent firmwares.
Few scenarios outgoing traffic experience delays, NX200 or ASUS router immediately generates error as WAN failure/recovered.

Hi, thanks for your further sharing.
1. When the router gets crash, can you still log into the web UI of the router? If you can, please go to Advanced >>Status and share us the screenshot of the Status page.
When the router works properly, you may also share us a screenshot of the Status page for comparison.
2. Can the router work properly under 3G/4G mode?
3. If you pur Orange sim card into phone, can your phone stay on 5G mode stably?
4.Please log into the web UI of the router share the system log after the router gets crash and recovers back to normal.
Thanks for your cooperation and have a nice day.
